The Team

The Glass City Rollers are metro Toledo’s premier flat track roller derby league. Formed in 2007, the league has spent the last two years developing its business model while also promoting and fostering the development of athletic ability, sportsmanship, and goodwill in its members. The GCR skaters and volunteers act as primary owners, managers, and operators of the organization, there by reinforcing our mission statement—by the skater, for the skater; in Toledo, for Toledo.
Not only do the Glass City Rollers strive to be excellent athletes, we also aim to improve our communities through our charitable works. Along with our participation in events such as the Maumee River Dragon Boat Festival and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, each of our bouts will benefit a different local charity.
Our goal is to raise awareness of the charity in question as well as to provide them with donations to aid in their future endeavors.
The Glass City Rollers are local athletes who are Toledo proud! This league believes in the city and its citizens. No matter the level of skating ability, each skater and staff member works together to ensure that every member becomes the best skater possible as well as a valuable asset in representing the city of Toledo.
